My question is does the university that you go to and what degree classification matter to employers?

Say if you want to do a Mathematics degree or a Civil Engineering degree. Will employers look at the university you went to and how well you did on you degree.

Or if you have the degree alone should that be enough?

Are you really at a disadvantage if you don't go to a good university and do not get a first?

I heard that for doing a Mathematics degree the employability is quite high, however does it include graduates who do not graduate with a first and do not go to a Russell group university?

Far too broad a question. Some employers will look at the specific course and uni.. some won't.
