    The point of this is to make 1 or more rules up for when you start (or start 2nd or 3rd year) and see if you have broken it before everyone goes home for Christmas (of course the aim is not to break it)

    My rules are:
    1. Start assignments as soon as I get them
    2. Do not be romantically involved with any flat mates or anyone on my course (it never ends well)
    3. Do not go home nearly every weekend (I'm a mummy's girl )

    For me since I'll be going to my final year;
    1. Same as your first one and plan to finish them early to ask different lecturers for feedback
    2. Live in the library! Go as much as I can do study and do work (get so distracted at home)
    3. Speak to lecturers as much as possible to make sure I'm understanding the topics

    Hopefully I can stick to these 3!

    1. As expected: do work when it's set not when it's due.
    2. Do all the reading.
    3. Talk to all the new people I'm going to meet - not just stick with my current friends.
    4. Do more 'fun' things like baking and sewing rather than sleeping.
    5. Don't sleep in all the time - get up and do something.

    1. Do all work on time (this never happens)
    2. Force myself to get out there and socialise (i love staying in)
    3. Don't spend all my money on clothes (i love to shop)

    There's a book called 'A Students Guide to University by actual students" on amazon for £1, it's very inexpensive and it goes through everything from relationships, money, friends and all that stuff that might be useful for you? Myself and my friends have found it very useful so give it a read if you have any worries good luck
