Am I the only person who wonders how they really look? Is the mirror accurate? Do I actually look good when I think I do? Do I look bad when I think I do? I would love to see myself through someone else's eyes sometimes.

    Same!

It's awful. A photo gives you a 2D version of yourself then a mirror reflects your appearance weirdly. Apparently your brain makes you look nicer than you actually are?

What we think that we look like is really distorted. :/

The mirror produces an inverted image of yourself so it is actually wrong. So the image you associate yourself with (the mirror you look into the morning) is not strictly correct

    (I think, optics confuses me)
