Do you feel self-conscious or anxious around people? You should probably speak to a therapist or a counsellor.

This is a completely normal symptom of social anxiety, which a lot of people get in their teens, and almost everyone will feel at some point in their life, even if very mildly. It is especially common if you have low self esteem, or feel that the people you are spending a lot of time around are cooler/ different to you, and can cause you to obsess about looking 'normal', as well as having physical effects like feeling sick or tight chested. ( I should know, I have a similar problem!) I would try talking to a parent or a really close friend about it, and if you feel its really bad maybe a school counsellor? Meanwhile, just before you go out try doing small things that make you feel better- listen to your favourite song, wear your favourite outfit, whatever makes you feel more comfortable I know it sounds silly, but I find it can actually help! Good Luck xxx
