    I found this quote :
'Whoever kills a person it is as though he has killed all mankind. And whoever saves a life, it is as though he had saved all mankind.'(Quran 5:32)

I'm a muslim and it would fit into Medicine, but should I use it or would it seem like I'm only doing medicine because of my Religion?

Don't put quotes into your personal statement, it defeats the point of the statement being "personal", unis hate it and quite frankly its a waste of perfectly good characters

The thing with quotes in a PS is a lot of the time it looks like the applicant is trying to fit a quote in for the sake of it. I would avoid it, which is somewhat hypocritical as I used one in mine but it fitted very well into the flow of the PS. It's your shout at the end of the day :dontknow:

Personally I would put that in, if it had influenced me to decide to do medicine. Although, I'm not a med applicant so wouldn't know the suitability.

If you're going to put a quote in don't put one from a religious text . There's no need to put a quote in a medicine personal statement, the idea is to sell yourself for one of the most competitive and most demanding degrees. That's an awful lot of characters to use on something not insightful or demonstrative of qualities required to study medicine.
