I did badly in my AS Level so i am going to be retaking some units alongside my A2s. now, i don't think that the teachers will give me a minimum AAA prediction (from CCCC AS levels) but even if they do i don't know if i am ready to apply. So Should i just focus on my A Levels and then apply? I am applying for Dentistry so i will have to take the Ukcat. If i were to apply this year i would need to take the test and get a good score. If i am not applying, i think it would be a good experience but would it be a waste of time considering i could be starting revising for A2 or do my EPQ? What should my short term plan be?

Dentistry is so competitive that you will struggle to get offers without AAA predictions and good AS results. A gap year would be a good idea, as then you can apply with your actual results.
