Hi, i am fairly competent at maths and i hope to get an A in my GCSE on Thursday. I a contemplating taking a level maths but some many people who i see that are great at maths struggle, or even fail! It sometimes take me longer than others to grasp some methods in maths but also sometimes i quickly grasp new ideas. I was wondering if you could tell me your experiences with a level maths and if you think ill struggle if i sometimes take longer to understand ideas. Also what a levels should i take if i want to go into accounting but if i decide not to it will still be okay. Thanks a lot for the help.

Mathematics with statistics is a solid one
Business studies is good for accounting because parts give you a further insight into cash flow sheets and a few other useful bits and pieces.
apart from that, go with whatever you like. Computing AS and A2 is surprisingly applied to businesses, History is a solid essay writer, psychology can give you a bit of leeway into your opponents thinking. All would be pretty useful IMO.
