The ring is on my finger (stuck there) and the ruby has fallen out (which I still have). Is it possible to stick it back myself? Is there some kind of jewellers glue or something I could stick it back with? Or am I going to have to take it back to the shop? Not sure what they could do if it had to be sent away whilst I can't get it off my finger :/ I've only had it for about a year.

A niche topic, I know! But if anyone has any experience/ idea please let me know!

I don't know about sticking the stone back in but have you tried using dental floss to remove the ring?
