Obviously, it varies year on year - they always try to get a normal distribution of results, with the median final scores for sections one and two being 5 for each.

However, you could use this pdf (from the BMAT website) to estimate what your raw scores would have been in 2003. It looks like 21 in section 2 (the science section) would have been around 5.8. Section 2 was out of 30 then and Section 1 out of 40, or so it seems from the graph - so you'd have to adjust your scores accordingly.

It is a very rough guide to what you would have scored (out of 9) in the test you did though!
