Ok, well I need a bag, but for now all I need to keep in it is stuff I cant leave in my car gps, stereo etc... And I think its kinda stupid to carry 4/5 things in a rucksack.
So, I've never had one of these "man bags", and uptil about 1-2 months ago, i thought they looked kinda odd on a guy. But I dont know why, they seem kinda normal to me know. But I was just wondering what most of you guys nd gals think. Im starting Uni in 2weeks, are they common there? Only saw 3/4 in my 6th form.
Gonna get a black one, by either nike, adidas, dunlop, bench or prada.
for sixth form i had a really nice burgundy duffer satchel type man bag with leather trim, looked good so definitely yes. also sometimes i wear a louis vuitton wapity case

Forgot to mention, say if you're a Guy or a Girl
I think they are really nice- they do look good on most people!!! Go for it (GUY)
Haha, where do you people come from? The 19th century? Walk around any city and look around you. Of course they're acceptable. Are you comfortable enough with your sexuality to pull one off? For christ sake.
I can't imagine a man bag that doesn't look emo. But it does piss me off that I have to carry all my stuff in my pockets when I'm out, instead of in a bag.
i saw this bag i liked for uni, its supposed to be a man bag, but id prefer not to use unless i need to for carrying notepad/pens etc for lectures
it should be alright for colour mixing and not stand out too much as being awkward, i think i might get away with it....or?
anyways if you really want to avoid the campnessaspect of it, you can go for a rugged look :P
which i would get if it wasnt for what i assume is a plastic lockon for securing the bag closed, (unless its metal, need to call up) afterall its expensive (139) and leather so would be a bit tacky.
Can't you just do what everyone else does and stick it in the glove compartment?
No, coz thieves break windscreens if they see the stand or sucker ring on the windscreen. I dont mind them breaking my windows, thats insured, but my I dont wanna lose my £200+ gps system.
i think that would be pretty difficult to pull off unless you were wearing something like a dark overcoat and you were cruel intentions type sexy :P and you always moved fast + windy otherwise.. i think its the width, the narrower the more it resembles a woman's handbag..right?

disagree, think the only thing which could be nicer is the colour, i'm not really a huge fan of black leather most of the time because it can be hard to pull off. think the actual bag is nice though.
not sure, ive never tried carrying it because then you would have one more thing to worry out/look out for when you dont actually need to use it...i usually just keep it in the glove box with the stand, never thought about the sucker marks, its a good point.
