Hi,

I have just finished my alevels and i got CCE with a D at AS. My subjects were Government & Politics, English Literature and Business Studies. My AS grade was in History.

I am having a gap year in which i am going to work, save and travel. However, i am applying for Uni this year.

I am in interested in studying either Law or some sort of Business/Economics.

Is it more achievable for me to apply for foundation courses or are there any universities that will accept me for my grades as they are?

Thanks
Annabelle

Hi, with CCE (equal to 200 UCAS points) you can apply for these:

Law LLB:
University of Bolton 140 points
Staffordshire University 160 points
Southampton Solent University 80 points (foundation year)
University of West London 200 points
Manchester Metropolitan University 200 points
University of Bedfordshire 200 points
St Patrick's, London 160 points
University of Essex 180 points
Keele University 160 points (foundation year)

Economics BSc/BA:
Southampton Solent University 80 points (foundation year) (Business Economics)
Manchester Metropolitan University 160 points (Economics)
University of Essex 180 points (Economics)
Keele University 160 points (Economics)

There are, of course, plenty more universities and courses that differ etc, but this is what I found with a few searches. Hope it all helped and good luck!
