Israel, Gaza and peoples' sheer hypocrisy

I've been following the Israel/Gaza situation like most people. I'm not intending to turn this into a left/right debate, though I have seen a number of Socialist Worker banners in these protests. However, it's certainly apparent that a lot of people are staunchly defending their actions when people stand up for Jews.

This reminds me of the actions of the EDL, proclaiming at every opportunity that they're only against 'extremism' and they're not racist at all etc, while chanting racist abuse, going round bricking mosques etc. Now we have pro-Gaza supporters and protesters reiterating every five minutes "we're not against Jews, only Zionists" - while attacking shops and calling for boycotts, with anti-Semitic crime up by nearly half. Sound familiar?

These boycotts... are you going to throw away your computer? Your mobile phone? Stop flying? Of course you're not, because you yourself benefit from these things, sheer hypocrisy by the same sort of people who protested against capitalism while sitting in Starbucks on their iPhones.

You think just because you're not attacking black people or Muslims that makes it all okay? Is it some sort of misguided support for the underdog? Or are you just racist?

Every movement will have an uneducated, violent cohort in it. Just look at Israel and the crimes against Arabs living in Israel. The large majority of the pro Gaza movement don't care at all about the religion of Israel's government. They're angry at the imprisoning of an entire civilian population and the murder of women, men and children.

The left wing in the UK and Europe are the new Nazis. They're despicable racists.
Muslims are taking over and who's fault is that? who pushes mass immigration hmm?
Not everyone is burning down synagogues and proclaiming "death to the Jews/Zionists".

Why is it called hypocrisy when you take a stand against violence? Whether it be Hamas or the IDF, no one can deny that innocent people are dying and that is essentially what everyone is against.
The general anti-Israel sentiment is just the typical response you'd expect from a technologically advanced nation causing a humanitarian crisis. I think it's misinformed. Regardless it's generally a raceless issue. However, the rise in active anti-Semitic attacks/demonstrations (as a subset of anti-semitism in general) seems to be mostly down to Muslims and born out of some feeling of solidarity for the trapped gazans. That being said, I think police and the government's permissiveness and toothlessness in response to this issue is largely to blame for it getting out of hand.
