I still haven't received my accommodation letter!

I applied for a self-catered en-suite room in New Hall as my first choice, and the same room type in Nixon Court as my second, and still haven't heard back from Leicester even though they received my forms on the Tuesday after results day, which is pretty early. Is that a bad sign? I'm starting to worry, I really wanted to get into New Hall. :frown:

phone them up! they will be able to tell you if you if they have sent your letter yet. that and sit and watch the post box!

well, i sent mine off the monday after results day and i hadn't recieved anything last thursday, so i sent an email to them, they said my "offer of accommodation was posted to you on 30 August 2006." So god knows how it takes 5 days to reach me, but oh well. So you should recieve yours soonish!

yeh i still waiting for mine!!! i dont think new hall self catered accomodation is ready or thats what th :confused:

What did you say in your email? Did you give them your UCAS number? & who did you email? the applications department?

Bah, there must of been so many limited places on the tuesday then juicy, they must have recieved mine by then also and i got gilbert murray (bowder court (which i must say looks quite nice! floor 0)) although my first choice was New Hall! Damn you!! :p:

kimzotic, i contacted them at [email protected]. I simply said "I was wondering if you could give me further information about the status of my application. I sent it last Sunday and as i have yet to receive a reply, i'm slightly worried as to whether you received it or not. My ucas details are below...etc..." And the details i gave were my name, DOB and ucas number. (not sure why i gave DOB, but oh well). Got a reply 2 days later

Well Gilbert Murray is really near New Hall anyway... on the same road right? It's a really nice location!
