Am I too fat for club rowing?

I'm male, 1.85 meters and 97.52kg.

Am I too fat to join a novice uni sport club rowing team?

I have been practicing on the Concept2Row machine this summer as an addition to my cardio workouts (about 10-15 mins/session before running).

I do about 27-30 Strokes/min and I get on average 2:07-2:09minutes/500m.

Is this too bad a time or can I join a rowing team?
