An average Imperial student has impaired social skills. Does that answer your question?

yes that is an answer for my question. Was this ever an issue for you?

Hmm... not really. My main gripe would be a lack of females.

Lets not make this into another thread about girls at Imperial! I'm sure if you're a nice guy you get noticed and if you don't then maybe there's a reason?

As you said lets not go there again. And enough of this "nice guy stuff", it implies most of the guys at imperial are tools.

Haha, I didn't mean to imply anything of the sort. I can't say I've met enough people from there to generalise about that kind of thing
This might seem like an odd question, but as a female, do you worry about going to a university with such an overwhelming male population?

Not at all, I get on well with guys. Anyway, i'll be with girls in halls etc so it'll be fine. I really don't think it'll be as big a deal when we get there as people think, do you? Is it something you're concerned about?

****s sake, more competition for boys.

Yes, true.....but so many people seem to be moaning that the girls at Imperial aren't 'fit' enough....so why would you want to compete for them anyway?!
Reply 176
I never said I wanted to 'compete' for girls, did I?

If they aren't fit, then the boys will probably do.
Reply 177
The only people complaining that there aren't enough girls are the ones who would be unlikely to attract these girls if they were infact there. Aside from the social track, it's not even as though it's an issue being on a course with mainly boys - I have never sat in any of my lessons at school and wished their was more totty to gawp at. Granted, it's sometimes fun having a mix of gender in a class but it's hardly the be all and end all to having fun in a lesson/tutorial/etc...

I'm still amazed this conversation exists at all, how many 'fit' girls there are in IC......you're going to be living in London, one of the biggest and most cosmopolitan cities in the world! Just go looking somewhere else if it's that much of an issue, how hard can it be!? Maybe I'm wrong?
