For AS I got the complete companions book but I was wondering if there were any better ones preferably detailed.. but detailed with the information that we actually need rather than irrelevant detail.

Any suggestions?

I'm going into my second year of Psychology also and I picked this up on various recommendations. I've been skimming it so far and it looks extremely detailed, especially moving up from the CGP books I used last year.

I did a different exam board - i did edexcel!
But I got A and B in my units at A2
Got a B overall - only 6 marks off an A - it's killed me! Haha

I loved the complete companion! The exam companion is fantastic as well, as is the official AQA revision book (not so much the official AQA textbook though)

Also Collins does small revision books, one for each topic; this is particularly good for A2 as they do one for each of the optional topics, and the sample essays at the back are very useful.

For lots of detail, I would second the Collins 'eye' book as we called it!

Awesome! I will search these up then, thank you! I like how they have separate ones like that, it really helps break down information
