lol this is kinda weird and i cant really describe it properly, but when you hug a girl and u go to kiss her (like the european thing) are u actually meant to kiss them or just make the noise??

thanks!!!

Assuming you're a pretentious non-European (which you are, or else you wouldn't ask such a question), the latter.

I fail to understand this...

People do whatever they want, and you can do what you want to do...

You can KISS, HUG, MAKE a NOISE... do whatever you want... It's entirely up to you.

So you want me to answer directly?

If you know the person well and she kisses you on the cheek, kiss her back. If she makes a noise, make a noise back. Now your both equal.

Well with my friends... I usually hug. Maybe kiss on the cheek with close friends; I don't make a noise though.

No, I don't want you to answer at all, your condescending arrogance in your last post was enough for me, compounded with the fact that the first half of this post was what I said, and the second half shows that you still haven't understood the question.

i guess im really ignorant, but uh, whats the noise?

Reply 15

Oh I know what you mean! I grew up in Melbourne and a lot of the Italian/Greek kids used to do that, I just wasn't *that* used to it so I was called frigid a number of times. It doesn't matter if you don't feel that affectionate to do that ghey 'hug kiss' thing with aquaintances, do what you want I say!

And when time is right, like one of my best friends is from a Greek background, then it's cool to do the hug kiss thing :p: But only if she/he is worth it.

Otherwise I wouldn't bother.

oh wait nvm i know what you lot are talking about

Reply 17

make the noise

Reply 18

When I greet my relatives and some friends, we touch face on one side and make the noise then repeat the same on the other side. No actual kissing is involved.
