masquerade ball

I'll be going to a masquerade ball as part of freshers week but not sure what to wear. I don't want to look like I'm going to a prom nor underdressed. Any ideas :smile:

I would go for something like this:

I just think black would be best as you can re-wear it, goes with everything and it doesn't scream 'LOOK AT ME!' Like some brighter colours might - I mean that in the sense that you don't want it looking like a prom dress, I think a pink or blue may look like a prom dress.

On a srs note I prefer these on girls, its black and white so it contrasts well.
