There IS an emphasis on getting pissed every night but if you don't drink then you don't have to. No one will care, no one will force you. The freshers roadshow is unbelievable because there's an open bar for the whole night and people pouring you drinks all night for FREE. But it's up to you if you want to drink snakebite or just have coke. No one will care either way, everyone still has fun because it's just a night of games and everyone getting merry. The same goes for events outside freshers fortnight i.e. things like the pub crawl - it's a good laugh even if people aren't drinking.
erm..bit confused..why exactly do we have to pay to be on a pub-crawl? i assume we still pay for drinks on top of this anyway?
The passport give you free entry to cliquey Imperial Medic event...
All (cept the boat party I think which has a limit of space) of which are open to non-medics to come along (which many do). And I believe every department has its own freshers events, just none have the amount of money that the medic union does.
The pass gives free entry to all the fortnight events except the ball
Drinking doesn't kill braincells! Students DO... Okay...sorry...couldn't help it. But drinking doesn't kill brain cells. Drinking to excess does tho. But if you do anything to excess you find its bad for you. Thats why its an excess. Anyways you can't avoid everything that kills braincells, living kills braincells. What you going to do about it?
