The doctors have to treat him like any other patient because they are professionals. However I am sure the chances of an accidental slip may be higher

Shuan Ryder had the best idea send him a public hanging.

Suicide is an easy way out he should suffer did he only get 1 life sentance? If so he only has another 9 inside. Life is 12 years right?

Killing himself was the easy way out. I mean then its all over for him but not for the poor familys of the girls he killed. He should rot away in the prison for the rest of his sentence.

If he's trying to kill himself, don't let him. He obviously wants to die, so keeping him alive is a greater punishment.

I agree. Thats the advantage over the DP with life sentances (quite a big difference too lol)

Did anyone see the article in the NOTW about a month ago about him?

The judge said that he shouldn't be let out, if I remember correctly. He won't ever be released.
At first, I thought "good", but he wants to die and we're not there to look after HIS wants and needs so why not keep him alive? Best punishment for him, I reckon.

Chuck him in a rotting, disgusting prison. But let him live.

i'll have to look into what his prison facilities are. I read he was once attacked with boiling water by another inmate...isn't that cool? *pssssttttttt* aahhh!!!! my eyes!!!

I think they should take him to a war zone.

Have you seen Huntley's prison??????????? They have gyms, pool tables, all sorts of stuff. It is a high security prison and so im suprised he even overdosed at all, there are cameras everywhere. I work hard and i cant even afford a membership for the gym, yet Huntley is one of the most sickest men ever and then he gets all sorts of luxuries, it is wrong you are treated well in prisons today - bring back the death penalty, if not toughen up the prisons.
If he wants to die, he doesn't deserve to. I'm all for capital punishment in this case but it would only be what he wants. The prisons in this country are too good.

He shouldn't be given publicity after what he did - sicko.
When i first heard this i was like "he's a ****ing moron, why the hell do taxpayers have to pay for him to live a life of luxury in that prison, let him bloody die!"
But then he's won if that happens. So much as a I hate knowing he's still alive, I know that him being alive IS his punishment.

I haven't heard that, but I wouldn't be surprised.

I know over the past few weeks we've been told that 'life' isn't really life anymore in some instances, but I highly doubt that he would be let out, after a case as high profile as his.

Would be an end to the british legal system.
