Politics and Philosophy Query

I have a keen interest in Philosophy and Politics, and the politics side of the LSE course looks great- but the Philosophy element of it concerns me slightly as I fear I would be out of my depth doing Philosophy of the Sciences, rather than the Philosophy of Religion and Political Philosophy I'm more familiar with.

How analytical is the course? Maths at GCSE was not my strong point so would this be to my detriment within the course?
I have taught myself a bit of propositional logic- does the course centre on solving propositions?

How flexible are the philosophy options- I'm aware the course focuses on Logic and Philosophy of Science, but are there aspects of it which are more theoretical and less analytical?

A lot of questions I know, and I'm greatful to anyone who can give me a hand here!
