what are the best things about being single?

as you can tell i like threads like these ;D

so go on, tell me why you like being single, or why you liked being single..

for me.. the independance, how you can fancy lots of guys, its all pretty casual and no commitment.
erm you're not always thinking about anyone.. you can go out with your friends a lot more.

i dunno..

Things I like about being single:

None of my friends are bad influences.
I dont have to worry about being told off for not ringing/texting.
I dont have to worry about upseting a girl If I want to go out with my mates
I can fill my time how I want.
I can chat to any girl I want, without worrying about any consenquences.
I dont have to sneak around to arrange to have extra drinks somewhere... lol

Not having to tell someone when/where you're going. Aaaall the time.
Being able to wear/buy what you want.
Being able to go out drinking without having someone clamped to your side all night.
No interfering mothers (of theirs).

ok...well here's my list:

1) Being able to do what you like without having someone get upset/jealous
2) Going out more with your mates...no strings attached!
3) Not having to answer to anybody
4) independence!!!!! most important that...i'm a v independent person!

there are lots more i'm sure but i cant think atm lol....But that's not to say i wouldnt mind being with someone either...cause i would! :p:

Depression. When you're not in a relationship you want to be in one (part of you anyway), and you're not , so you get depressed (well me anyway), and that gives you a reason to be in a bad mood and a snappy way and to be not-very-nice-all-the-time. Or an excuse, if you're normally that way.

The excitment of going out, meeting someone, flirting, seeing where it leads to, altho waiting for the phone to ring is agony!

Imaginary bf/gf's are much more perfect than the real thing!

Only having to deal with your issues.

More time for girly gossips/lads nights etc
