How to revise for IGCSE English Langauge Specification A Edexcel?

So I'll sit the exam on Jan 2015,
I haven't started revising yet and I'll revise by myself & study the whole book at home and I'm aiming for an A/A*.
Are there any tips and excellent revision guides (Other than the one provided along the student book) like CGP for instance.

I really hope someone will answer me :frown:

Is English your first language?
Because I'm not too sure that people generally need revision guides for English...
Also, I don't think there are any other revision guides for Edexcel's IGCSE course.
I was one mark off an A* and all I can say is in the writing, use a variety of punctuation, vocabulary and sentence structures. Also, always make sure you understand the passages, in the reading, before you start writing anything.
There are no revision guides I used but I would recommend Mr Hoye's english igcse website for the Anthology texts.
