If you got a D in English Language and Maths at GCSE I don't believe you'll be eligible to apply for such a prestigious university as Birmingham, especially for such a competitive course like Law; I'm also unsure about BCU as I think they ask for C's? You may want to check this; forgive me if I'm wrong.
I meant to mention this in my post also!
Although from the other posts from this user I gather that they are only going into lower sixth so they have plenty of time to repeat!
