To summarise.
Some "indie" games developer allegedly slept with videogames "journalists" for positive reviews but what unfolds is the sordid underbelly of cronyism, backhand favours, underhand censorship of large gaming forums and the co-option of peoples gaming pastimes by social justice ****ers.

Censorship
There is shadowbanning and censorship across multiple sites.

Many communities are only allowing discussion that is positive about Zoe Quinn and defending her. Places like NeoGAF (probably the worst), N4G (though that example may have been the action of a single moderator, as TechRaptor’s previous article was left up), Reddit, even 4chan is having threads removed, and many other sites continually removed threads until they left some up. It is really difficult to get evidence of this happening, as most of the time the thread is removed before most people documented it. Some of it is shown in the previous article. For the most part it still continues, in many places as I have experienced it first hand.

Coincidentally timed,
Anita of the Feminist Frequency project whining about women in games releases another video which results in her playing the professional victim and claiming she has to leave her house due to threats.
Numerous websites then publish sympathetic articles supporting her instead of any indepth reporting.
Here's one of the better articles that actually has one paragraph stating a viewpoint against her but then they spoil it with what follows afterwords.

War on gamers declared

As this is happening multiple sites launch similar style articles , insulting and attacking gamers. Websites which should one would expect would be more responsible were involved like gamesbiz or gamasutra with articles titled "gamers are over" or a "guide to ending gamers" or arstechnicas or kotakus death of gamers articles and so on and so forth.

That's the problem they aren't really geeks and it goes much further than a few idiots sleeping around. I 've quickly edited the first post to expand on it.
