Dammit, why didnt I apply to an all girls college? It'd significantly increase my chances of finding someone (although nothing multiplied by anything is still nothing)

hehe, it'll probably a self-fulfilling prophecy if I keep being negative. Must be positive, must be positive....
It should be easier for me tho because I've become more confident in 6th form so I can go to uni with a fresh start being more outgoing.

For the usual reasons. I'm not desparate, it'd just be nice to find someone. My time will come...

I agree...very easy to be too negative - I know that frame of mind well.......and I also like the whole "fresh start" aspect to staring at uni. Am determined to turn into someone very captivating and vivacious by October, and make people actually remember my name (unlike at my school, which I've been at since the age of seven, and where people still only know me as "oh-you-know-that-girl-who-hangs-around-with-so-and-so" - My name is SARAH dammit!)
But hey...fresh start, new identity - perhaps I'll introduce myself by a different name....*starts racking brains for name to suit new captivating exotic image*

Hmm, if I want to sound exotic and exciting, I best avoid telling people I'm doing Engineering
