clingy?

ok so mi probelm is this. my girlfriend wont let me do anything socially with any other girls and its rele beginin to annoy me. why does she do it? its not asf im gonna cheat on her or whatever. she always wants to know exactly what im doing and exactly who im doing it with. am i jus bean arogant or is ths a real problem wiv other people too?

If talking with her about it dosen't solve anything then I think you should reconsider going out with her if its that bad. By any chance, you havent done anything to make her feel jealous when in the company of other females have you?

Have had a bf come between me and my friends, male and female, completly unprovoked and was his issues causing a problem for me... will never happen again! End of!

Sadly, when bf/gf aren't there anymore, you only have your friends left - they deserve as much respect and time as your bf/gf.

see im kinda like that with my other half but thats only because he has cheated on me once before when he was drunk...this could be the reason?

How long have you been together?
I think you just need to talk...and again, if that does work, dump her.

I would have a chat with her, tell her how it is annoying you and that you do want a life with your friends as well, but also reassure her that you love her and will not cheat.

I know how you feel thats what my last girlfriend did to me, she got mad and tried to stop me socialising with my friends, despite the number of times i tried to discuss it with her, she would not listen and in the end i had enough and dumped her.

okay she just feels a little protective about you! :smile:

in a way you can say its a good thing because she really does care for you and love you, however its very annoying like you said lol, look just explain to her that you LOVE her and thats it, full stop your not going to go and cheat on her or anything, she would feel glad and wont be clingly!! trust me i was once like that :redface:

oh and when you do say it to her, dont bring up the fact that she doesnt let you do anything with other girls because then it just sounds as if your only saying it to make her feel better, say it to, hummm okay i cant think of right word but in a normal way, conforting maybe next time you guys do something together, so she knows that you mean it!

you've got to make it clear to her that you really do like her, and no matter what girl you hang out with, she'll always be your girlfriend.. and you have eyes for no-one but her.

maybe in her past relationships all the guys she's been with have cheated on her, so she may not want it to happen.
