someone from birmingham uni told me of them and i checked my uni (southampton) and last years freshers week picture gallery has no trace of them.

The ones they had at warwick last year were white and bright orange, not entirely sure what they said on them as I didn't get one... their purpose was to get you into exclusive t-shirt-only freshers events. I think they had Warwick Freshers '05 on the front, and maybe a list of the events on the back. They weren't spectacular.

Are you sure they exist? I know we joked about hanging things round our neck with it on, but I wouldn't actually have thought t-shirts were in existance.

I can't say I'd think too highly of someone wearing one either :p:

Yeah they do exist, i'm seen a couple of people with them. Don't have them at mine though.

Depends on the Uni - Loughborough is v big on them!!

Each hall has a different fresher shirt (See attached pics), they usually just have the hall name, some sort of logo (which changes every year) and a space to write your name/nickname in! It's just that being in halls is a big thing at Loughborough, and the committee can see where you are and things, plus you know who is in your hall if you get lost or something!!

Last year in my hall we had to wear a tag round our neck (lol), which we used as 'passes' to have queue jumps and things!

Like i said really does depend on the Uni - but i think Loughborough has the extreme of it!! Everyone wears one, it's 'the' thing to wear in the first week :smile:

wants was abit weird... 1 girl had "wants. to suck cock for £10 a shot" nice... bet she had a few friends by the end of the night

Ooooh, we had tops like that for social nights rather then freshers week!! It is a good idea to put stupid stuff on them, by the end of the night people have usually put loads of random stuff on!!

We where given freshers t-shirts but they weren't uni issued they where being given out by one of the clubs/bars who attended at our freshers fair, they had big green 'Freshers 05' or something on them, and space for you to write something.

lol i was unsure of whether she'd wrote it herself surely not lol!

for our xmas thing... forgotten the name of... but its like 3 days of xmas drinking fun me and my friends all wrote horrible things on each other about sitting on santas knee lol

they probably shouldve give 20 year olds permanent markers lol

lol just stuff like sarah likes to sit on santas knee and bounce..... cant write the rest for obvious reasons lol

and like carly would like a *insert something TOTALLY filthy here* for xmas this year
