Online shopping sounds like a good plan, we get it at home and they dont say a specific time so how do you know when they're at the halls? Do u wait outside for them?

They always give me a time e.g 1-3 then i make sure im in. When they get there they buzz up to the flat and i go and let them in.

Another silly question... hehe... do you have to spend a certain amount to get it delivered?
did u do big shops or just get stuff when u needed it?
How much storage does each person get in their kitchens?

Usually get one shelf in fridge and one draw in freezer however people all ways fight over fridge as off you come back with loads of food and your flat mate has already filled it with his stuff.
Tescos is 5 quid to delieve iceland is free over some set amount i believe dont know about others.
I did biggest shops e.g 2-3 months worth, but i budgeted and eat little so my shop averages 30 quid for 2-3 months food. However had to top on things like milk and bread. :biggrin:

The last post reminded me of the milk war I had, and no it wasn't throwing milk around. I'd buy some milk put it in the fridge the next day someone will have used it...so I started putting an M on my milk so ppl knew it was mine, the thing is it still got used. So I then started putting threats on my milk, however this still didn't seem to get into the person who used it...I asked them all no one would own up. This went on from like christmas till the day I left...without telling most of them I was leaving. I put a few death threats on my milk, then I get a text two days before I left from one of my flatmates saying that it's getting out of hand and too stop...so the next milk I got I drew a few symbols on it...non of which mean anything...and it all kicked off, the next day the milk was covered in blue marker, with things like u dick head, loads of penis drawings etc. I wasn't at all bothered by it and the treats were harmless, as in I had no intenion of killing someone, yet my friends call me psycho as there are two Matt's out of 4 of us, so it would be confusing when someone said Matt.

So please ppl don't have a milk war, do the right thing (which I tried to do but failed) and sit everyone down and explain what is going on has to stop, before it gets uggly which it was uggly.

10 mins drive! I would have to walk. what is that one called? I'm trying to get a transfer as it will save me looking for another job.

the one i transferred to was Hillsboroughwhich according to the morrisons store finder, is closest to city campus, but seeing as i'll be walking from Norfolk Park, it's gunna be like a 45 min walk for me, so will have to find out about buses

u gguys dont need 2 carry anythin jus "borrow" a trolley and push it down the city centre wif ure bags in. Then next time u go 2 the super market take the same trolley!!

u can use this is a back up plan if the tesco guys wont help wif ure bags or are busy or sumin

I have a magic pantry in my house. If I run out of cocopops, I just open it and there's another box in there.
One time there wasn't though...had withdrawal symptoms...was a wreck :frown:

Seriously though, I'll be living with M j R (my partner in crime) & my sis, so if any food goes missing, it'll be 1 of the other 3 flat mates who'll get interrogated

Supermarkets...
