Application to take unlisted Courses

Hi,

I am going back to LSE to begin my second year in a few weeks and I am reading Government Bsc. I have selected the courses I want to take next year but I have not heard if the application I made to take an unlisted course has been accepted.

I took two Government courses and two outside options in my first year as is standard. I've decided that I want to take more political theory during the coming year and have therefore requested to take GV302 (KEY THEMES IN THE HISTORY OF POLITICAL THEORY). In addition to this I am taking GV262, GV264 and GV265.

Therefore I have two questions, is there anyone out there who has selected unlisted courses and not heard back like me? Secondly, do you think there is any reason why they would not let me take this course. I did get a first from my first year.

Any thoughts appreciated,

Don't worry; I have also applied to take an unlisted course. This is normal considering course choices aren't formally finalised until the 28th October.

ps. Don't I know you? lol... Did you do an Access Course?

Thanks for that, most reassuring.

I was on here a lot this time last year while I was still at work and applying to LSE. I didn't have to do an access course though, my ancient A-levels were good enough.

Not been on Student Room for months though....What became of Xanthe from last year?

Hello Clicker,

I'm still here but I haven't posted much in the last few months or indeed posted much this entire academic year. I make the occasional post now and again though. I'm starting the BSc International Relations (IR) course this month so I'm really excited about coming up to the LSE. :smile:
