What is it with this place?

Going to school seems to suck the life out of me, I hate that place and i'm not even sure why. I go to an all-boys school although there are a few girls in the sixth-form. I've never been bullied and I have some good friends there but I never socialise with any of them outside of the place.

It's really weird because outside of school I have loads of good friends, I'm good with girls and I really enjoy my life but as soon as I go back there I become this completely different, miserable person who just wants to get home.

I've tried so much to be myself there but I can't do it, it seems like every social skill I have is lost as soon as I walk through the gates. Why does going to this place bother me so much?

Hmm that seems strange. Do you dislike the school itself? Do you have specific problems with teachers or rules or the way things are run? Maybe you just like to keep school life and outside-life separate for some reason. How many years do you have left before you leave?

First you need to make a list or something of the good things about the school (or least worse if there aren't actually any good things), and then the things which annoy you or you don't like, and then you can try and identify the actual problem, then you can try and think of a solution :smile:
