thangk god for that

cos i just spent half-a-hour asking them to predict me on the higher range of grades

Reply 2

Thats what 2 of my teachers said. The Philosophy and English Teachers said that to me to. Both of them predcted me A slash B. I disputed that tey could do such a thing but they insisted. They thought thaty had some power over me, so what I did was drop English and say to the Philosophy teacher I wasn't applying after my AS year. Showing them that their ****ty predictions held no sway over me.

wow....anyways, i cant do that seeing as i need my a2 subjects

My history teacher predicted me an A/B, but my form tutor changed it to an A when writing my reference, so I don't think you can have 2 grades.

Reply 5

My predictions are all A/B, and I think they're gonna stay like that (unless I can persuade teachers to increase them), because my tutour was talking about how uni's will look at it, ie I could get AAA, but it might be BBB so I'm a bit of a risk blah blah. If you guys are right and they pick the higher then wahoo, but I think you can have split grades.

Reply 6

Yes. They can...e.g A/B

Reply 7

Yeh, i was always under the impression that they could use split grades. Makes sense really, because there are plenty of people that are borderline.

My friend got predicted A/E for some reason, apparantly he is capable of an A but got a bad AS grade hmmm.

For my predictions Im predicted AAA but in French the teacher didn't even write my grade in and keeps changing it and now its B/C and next minute it was B.
But my tutor is going to lobby her for me because he thinks that she is being unreasonable.
