Which student bank account is better - Santander or HSBC?
I'm looking into UK student bank accounts, and for international students (which I am), Santander and HSBC generally seemed to get more praise than the others. Wondering which one people would recommend. I do like the rail card benefit of Santander but I've been seeing a lot of hype about HSBC. Which would you suggest?
If you go with HSBC you won't actually get the £3000 overdraft. You will get either £500 or £750 but after a year or so you can apply for a bigger overdraft.
