Southwell hall anyone?

I think it says in the letter there's a trip to Bruges( belgium) on the 14th(I have a vague memory of it being the 14th, guess I'll check later)

edit: just checked the website and they say the trip is to france , it's weird because they say it's bruges on the accomodation letter.

also, on the letter we got from southwell it says the fresher's ball is... sunday? monday? i forget, well on the union website it says following friday. i hope its friday. it makes much more sense.

if they give us t-shirts to wear... can we pick the size?...

if it says friday on the union's website, I'm quite sure that is right since it seems that there is something planned every other day.
don't know about the size of the teeshirts, rock eleven will know I guess.

well if it's to france I'm not even sure I would want to go. What's so cool about visiting france when you're french.
they'll probably tell us how much it'll cost once we get there, for now they don't seem organized enough to know if it will be france or belgium.

While I was in africa i took french lessons for a month or two. But I didnt actually learn anything because the teacher was teaching french in portuguese... :rolleyes:

It cant be very expensive... its just.. france.. haha. Practically around the corner. I'm def going. :biggrin:

I guess you travel to Belgium through France, therefore it will be French customs checking passports...

well its either choccies in belgium or wine in france. both are fine by me! but ive never been to belgium whereas ive popped over the channel quite a few times in the past so i guess i would slightly prefer belgium if it really came down to it.

Oh yeh that reminds me, need to ask a friend to drive me to calais so I can stock up on cheap brandy and wine, student loan and bursary have to be put to good use.

it's weird someone said earlier that we wouldn't receive our room numbers until we actually got there.

@tuppatopbrer: Seems you know your french schools, but why would you want to go to HEC paris.commerce/economics are boring... :p:

yeah I know it was just an example... just wanted something more to say, my post was too skinny... (I know it's sad ...shoot me)

they probably won't send anything important now except maybe for those room numbers, but even if you don't receive it, it's probably not important, you'll just find out on the 30th ( bigger surprise!)
