I now prefer this Label-M wax that I get from T&G though. But it doesn't last as long and is umpteen times more expensive.

Oh, and get some good shampoo. Dax is a pain to get out.

Have u tried the other colours, or know how they compare?

And what shampoo would you reccomend? I heard there's that dax stuff that's meant for it, but I dunno who sells the stuff.

I haven't, but my friends have. The red was always good enough not to warrant any change.

My friends said that the blue and purple Dax Wax's weren't worth it, in the slightest.

There is Dax Shampoo, never bought it though. I'd either wash it several times in the shower or I'd use a little bit of my sister's 'Trevor Sorbie' shampoo which seemed to get rid of it in one or two rinses.

I've since started using the Trevor Sorbie Men's shampoo, which is quite good too. Costs quite a bit though.

As far as I know, the red is for darker hair and the blue is for lighter. I used to be a fan and used the blue, but to be honest I found it way too greasy. It was alright when I had short hair - but longer hair it didn't work with - and this is because dax is meant for shorter hair. I'm using a fish wax stick which is one of the best things I've had. You can get it from boots, and the fish products in my experience are really good.

My hair requires me to use a lil more of the red dax, which was impossible to get out for me. The purple dax is weak, but if you have a really relaxed flappy style you could use that but the red tin is really, REALLY good for styling.
my boyfirend tells me dat red is da best and a gud tip is to wait til uv used a 1/3 or mor of da pot then fill it up with very warm water. then use it like gel, leavin the water in until uv finishd.itl b the strongest gel uv eva used,so b sparing! random tip bt mite b useful 2 sum1

blue?? what kind of weirdo would ever use blue?!

red is the only one to use.
Don't use Dax. It is like putting tar in your hair.

Use Toni & Guy X-Wax. It's a million times better.

I've started using it again since this thread.

It can be a lot better than anything else you use. Washing your hair so frequently bates though.
