Fetish Taking Over

Hi all, I think I need help,

My fetish with shorts is taking over my life, I can't stop staring at guys or girls in them and I want my girlfriend to wear them all the time especially in bed, understandably she doesn't do this all the time, and is a little sick of it.

I can't stop buying them either, and I'm worried its getting out of control.

Is it, or am I worrying over nothing and what can I do?

reach a compromise with your girlfriend, only wear shorts in bed (or otherwise) on a sunday or something, and as for buying them all the time avoid clothes shops for a while.
A bit of cold turkey sounds like a good idea.

If the OP genuinely cannot (for want of a better choice of phrase) 'get off' without shorts being somehow involved, then he has a fetish. It's more of a fetish than the whole whips and chains cliche usually is, not because it's unusual, but because very few people into that truly have a fetish, where they can only gain sexual gratification when these elements are present.

So, just because it's not your kink, and just because it's not that common, doesn't make it any less valid.

Also, if it were about the traditional BDSM kinda stuff and it tuned into a chatty mess filled with that whip smilie, half of it would go bye bye anyway.

OP: I don't think you have a problem with your fetish per se, more the fact that it's evident that you and your girlfriend are perhaps not so compatible on the matter. Have a chat with her about it, see if you can get to the bottom about what she doesn't like about it, and you can explain your side too.
