Teaching assistant HLTA status worth it?

Hi guys, I was wondering if any of you are teaching assistants or HLTAs here? I'm looking for opinions on a resource I'm building up to help TAs get HLTA status. I've heard mixed feelings about HLTA status and whether it's worth the time (and often monetary) investment.
