Which A Level is more respected?

Law
Psychology
Philosophy and ethics

I want to do an English & history degree then go into journalism, and I want to go to universities like Leeds and Durham, what is best? Would it benefit me greatly to do Geography instead?

Philosophy and Ethics is the most respected of the three. (It is part of the Religious Studies A Level)

Here is a list from Cambridge of the suitable A Levels: https://www.trin.cam.ac.uk/index.php?pageid=604

Law and Psychology are A Levels of 'More Limited Suitability'
Probably the order in which you stated the 3 :P
I think those 3 would be reasonable for Journalism as far as I know. Be sure to check uni reqs!

Psych and phil are about the same in terms of how respected they are. Law is not so much. Geography is a facilitating subject and is well respected.
It really depends on what your other choices are, it's all about the combination.
psychology is the most respected there, law is like negative respect and ethics is ok but not as good. I would say yes to geography as it is a facilitating subject however only do it if u enjoy it. Good luck

I'd say Geography would be the most respected, followed by Philosophy and Ethics, then Psychology, then Law.
This link should help:

Either would be fine for the course you wish to do. They're all pretty essay based.

Either way, stick to what you think you will enjoy most and get the best grades in
