Can I do 2 courses in different colleges

I am going to study BTEC Public Services Level 3 soon and I am doing it at West Thames College and I wanted to do a Gemstone course but they do not have any courses relating to gemstones. If anyone is doing gemology or a course related to gemstones in college, may you tell me how it is as I have a passion for gems and i wanted to study it. Also if they are any gemstone courses near white city or in London
