Any Information?

Hi all,
I'm starting SOAS this year for economics, but i still have not recieved any emails from soas to register. is this normal
thankyou
I got an email saying I should be given my account details for online enrolment by Friday. However, you aren't the only one who hasn't heard anything from SOAS yet, since they stagger it so everyone's not trying to register for courses at the same time. I would suggest contacting them if you don't hear from them on Friday, just to make sure they're working on your account. They might say they'll email you next week or the week after, but people have said they were never contacted at all and just enrolled during welcome week without a problem. You can register for Online Student Services right now, if you haven't already. There's a lot of info on the site for new students and it tells you how to register: http://www.soas.ac.uk/welcome/undergraduate-and-postgraduate-taught-masters-students/enrolment-onto-your-degree/.

Hi there.
Okay, if you both had unconditional offers from Soas, you would be able to sign into course sign-up, but if you have conditional offers, you would have to wait until Soas has received confirmation that your conditions have been met
before you'd get an email, telling you what to do for online registration.
Now saying that, by now, l'm guessing you would have received a Welcome Week email with your student ID and an explanation of how the password system works. Also, in that initially email, there would be a link directing you to the relevant Soas Newsletter, from where you click on the 'Online Services' link, which takes you to the Online Services registration and login page. You first click the register button, fill in your details and if you are a new 1st U/G you can use your soas ID and password to set up a Online Service account. Once finished, you wait 30/40 minutes, then go back onto the page and click the Login button. You then use the email and password you used to set up your Online Services account to access your login, where you upload a photo etc. You should then be able to select your courses, if you cannot, send an email to your Faculty and your course tutors, outlining your choices. If you can't do any of that, then l guess you'll need to contact the IT Help desk at [email protected]
Here's the link to a short video showing you how to complete course sign up and another link for the Soas Enrolment video

Hope that helps?
If not, be patient, very patient and Welcome Week will respond to your enquiry. Also keep an eye on the @soasRegistry twitter site and SoasFaceBook home page for any updates.
Thanks now
