I'm still not sure actually lol. I said I was going to but I don't know now. If I bring one I probably won't watch TV all the time since there usually isn't much that interests me lol. Was also thinking of a dvd player. I might just look for a combined one. I'm still thinking lol.

im taking one just cause it there to take but if its a toss up between watching it and being social (eg: getting trollyed) then social will win every time tv will be pureley for times when there is nothing else to do which i hope wont be very often.
I'm not taking one, but then again I don't really watch TV.

I'm taking my laptop and that plays DVD's which is ace for me.

I don't really want to spend £130 on a TV lisence tbh.

And hopefully if there is anything I want to watch (New Series Of CSI) some very nice person will take pity on me and let me into their room to watch it.

I'll bring popcorn and alcohol.

Im not taking mine either, i dont watch a great deal of tv and im not buying a TV license to watch 1 or 2 shows a week. Watch a lot of films, but can watch them on the laptop. Although halfway through the year i will probably end up getting one
I'm not taking a TV either. My laptop will play DVD's so its all good. Can always hook it up to someones telly if theres loadsa ppls wanting to watch the film altogether. Cant be arsed to fork out for the license when I dont watch all that much TV. I dont have time
I have to say I will have Deal Or No Deal and Neighbours cravings.

*sighs*

my friend at uni said if uve got a tv people tend to keep themselves to themselves but i dont really know if this is true or not??

Do you really think everyone is going to be doing things with each other ALL the time?

I took my telly as did all my housemates. We have a TV in the living room for when we all want to watch something together but people need their own time sometimes. Don't you? I love sometimes just crashing in my room watching telly for a bit or watching a dvd.

People keep themselves to themselves whether they have a TV or not.

Maybe leave your telly at home at first and then move it up a couple of weeks later.

It says the building i am in there are four people sharing....does this mean we would each need a TV license? Or can you share?
No. If you're in one house you can share the TV licence, but in halls you all need to have one.

I didn't know about the phones. That's just weird. But I did know you'd need a licence for computers.
