Don't know about international candidates. What I know is that your centre are able to retrieve them electronically from 00:01 on the 14th August. The paper slips are a different matter. In the UK they arrive by post to the school that morning. Internationally you would have to allow for air mail delivery times.

Nope. Only your centre has the codes required.

How easy do you reckon it would be to get the centre to divulge the codes?

My exam centre (eg my school) email everybody their results at 9am exactly on the day results come out. Sure it wouldn't be that hard for other schools to follow suit.

my friend in the year above had a backdoor in the school networks just before he took his exams. he was then able to get his results at about 8am, when the school accessed them and unfortunately didnt get the grades required. but cos he phoned up very early they said they had spaces open and would accept him for a variant on that course (the uni knew who had the grades and who didnt already obviously).
