blood pressure was the only test i had, questions are things like do you smoke, family medical history, your medical history etc. also they weigh you and take your height, think thats it
I didn't get asked many questions at all and can't remember whether I had any tests.

Whatever you tell them is confidential anyway...

Well as it was kind of my doctors idea to put me on the pill (sort out period pain as nothing else helps) She just checked there was no problems with my family or me (did that all from records) asked if I smoked and took my blood pressure.

Hmm, if your family have a history of diabetes and high blood pressure, but i have quite low blood pressure, dont smoke and am not overweight, could i get put on the pill?

I've also been thinking about going on it, however am scared that my family would find out as they are against this sort of thing.. would they be able to tell i was on it?

^..unless they found the pills ..there's no way of them finding out..

dont forget patient/doctor confidentiality too..

When i went to the FPA to get the pill, they did blood pressure tests and weighed me and measured me and worked out my BMI.

When i went to the doctors to get the pill after a break of about a year, the doctor just told me all about the pill and then gave me a prescription! No blood pressure tests or anything. He said when i came back to get my next pack of pills, they'd take my blood pressure but they didnt  and i just got another prescription!
