Mental Health Nursing?

Hi!

I'm currently a student at Lincoln Uni studying Fine Art (I know, big difference), looking to do another course after, hopefully starting next year. I'm looking to do Mental Health Nursing, and Notts is currently one of my top choices. I'm ultimately wanting to do a Masters in Art Therapy, but would like a decent foundation of both art and mental health services beforehand.

I'm wondering if anyone is studying the course, and can give me some info on it? Can you specialise your field (for instance, I want to concentrate on CAMHS), what's the general week like, how much written work do you do, what are placements like, etc.

Would I be able to commute from Newark by driving easily? What's the NHS bursary like, and how does it work for somebody who has already done one bachelor's beforehand? Looking online, it seems I can still get my tuition fees paid by the NHS even after I've already had SFE funding, but obviously won't be able to get any maintenance loans.
