Can someone link me to some useful threads / sites / notes that can improve my essay writing skills ?

Has anyone got a very very good (A* Level) 25 marker essay structure that I could use? Want to get my essay writing skills at their best, because that's my weakness atm.

I don't have any suggestions with regards to sites I can link you to, or a particular essay structure, but I got 100% UMS in my final A2 exams in economics and that was basically from studying past papers and mark schemes. Once you've been through a few past papers, written your own answers down, and taken a lot of notice of what examiners want through mark schemes/examiners reports you'll basically know how to structure your essay responses. Having done a few papers and studied the mark schemes you'll get the structure ingrained in your head and it's basically the kind of thing that is repeated year on year.

I don't know much about the current syllabus, as I sat my A levels in 2009 before the 4 module setup was introduced, but I do know that defining main terms gives in the introduction gives you a point to spring from, and if you become familiar with economic concepts you can usually find something to say about how X scenario will impact things like inflation, government policies, individual groups of people, certain firms, etc.
