How often do you go abroad?

On holiday or visting family/friends. Whens the last time you went abroad? Which countries do you hope to visit in the next 5 years?

Usually twice a year average. Parents live in France so go there fairly regularly.

Last went abroad: June - France

Next going abroad: In 2 days - Canary Islands.

Twice a year, parents work abroad so am forced to go and see them. And the normal holiday with friends. Usually to a part island.

People think at the end of the day that a man is the only answer [to fulfillment]. Actually a job is better for me.

I've only ever been abroad twice in my life and even then, the first time was just last year for my 21st. I went to Iceland last year and Ireland this year. Don't know if I'll be able to afford to go away next year, just have to wait and see.

I haven't gone abroad since 2012 but I usually go once in a year. I plan to go to Gambia next year which should be good though.

usually at least once a year, sometimes twice.

Last time I went abroad was to visit my friend and her husband in Cyprus in June :smile:

and I'm going to Italy with my parents next year. I'm not one for party holidays, I prefer cultural ones (wow I'm such a bad 19 year old)

aiming to do a semester in North America next academic year too ^.^

I use to go once a year with my family to climb mountains in the Austrian Alps and more recently to the Dolomites. This was the first year where I haven't gone abroad since ages.

Well I lived abroad last year and went travelling this summer...

Had about 2 years before that of not going abroad and then before that maybe 2-3 times a year because my parents used to own a house abroad.

When I was a kid I went abroad most years (give or take a couple).

Since being an adult:

-I went abroad in 2003 with my mother to...d'ya know I forget where...somewhere Spanish but I forget if it was mainland Spain or a Canary or Balearic Island,

-I went abroad in 2003 to France - in August I went with my husband (fiancé at the time) and we stayed with my granddad and went to my cousin's wedding, I then went back at the beginning of September with my dad and his wife to visit my granddad in hospital as he had just been diagnosed with cancer, and then I went back again a couple of weeks later with my dad and his wife for my granddad's funeral :frown:

-I went abroad in April 2005 to Spain for my honeymoon with my husband (Costa del Sol)

-I went abroad in April 2008 with my husband, and our two kids. We went to Spain (Costa Brava).

-I went abroad in August 2008 with my mother, and my two kids. We went to Spain (Costa Brava).

-I went abroad in September 2011 with my husband, and our three kids. We went to Spain (Salou).

-I went abroad in September 2012 with my husband, and our three kids. We went to Spain (Salou).

-I went abroad in August 2014 with my husband and our four kids. we went to Spain (Salou).

Very rarely although I did go to France this year but that was my first holiday abroad for a few years.

been to England once or twice but that's the only times I've left the country haha

Maybe I'll save up and go during summer in the next 5 years :smile:
