The Lateral Thigh Trainer

For those of you who sometimes glance at the Teleshoping adverts on Sky, you might have seen the cheesy adverts for the Lateral Thigh Trainer. The LTT is a revolutionary new way to work out - rather than being a traditional stepper where you just step up and down, the LTT swings out to the side as you step (like an ice skating motion) so it supposedly works your inner and outer thighs plus your bum and your obliques (the muscles that run up the sides of your torso).

Anyway, I had been toying with the idea of getting one for AGES but at £89.85 before postage, there would be no way. But I have seen loads and loads on Ebay for around £30 and they have everything including the optional power cords. So I could actually get one but I was wondering before I do, if anyone had one already and was it any good.

Why not go and ride your bike instead of paying £90 using it twice and then letting it sit in your cupboard gathering dust.

I've got a Lateral Thigh Trainer!

Biggest waste of money I've ever spent. Basically, it's very easy on the first few settings, hense, useless. However, I find it too difficult on the hardest setting. Mine's gathering dust in the loft, I'll stick to the treadmill.

It sounds like a recipe for broken ankles to me.

God I won't pay £90, I'll get it off ebay for £30.

Plus, I am determined to sort myself out. I really want to get fit again. Its true what they say, you let yourself go once you have found the perfect companion.
