What time to take pill?

Hi, I've just started taking the pill and know that it works best if you take it at the same time every day. I'm not really sure when would be a good time though..if I take it at breakfast it would be at a different time at the weekend but I'm worried that I'll forget about it at other times or will be out. Any suggestions about when a good time might be? If you're on it,when do you take it?
Thanks, sorry if this is a bit of a stupid post!

I take my pill at 6 o clock every night - because I'm usually always in the house at that time.

I have the worst memory and so I have a reminder set on my phone - very helpful!

I found it was much easier at taking it at say 10 at night, then your usually always awake,Carry it around with you in your bag then if you happen to stay out and your not at home you can always take it.Instead of it being at breakfast the times could vary alot at weekends as you said.

Take it at 7pm, after hollyoaks ends :p: And on weekends I usually remember anyway, if not, just set my phone reminder.

i take it at 6.30 in the evening because, particularly at uni, times when i'm awake/sober/anywhere near the box with the pills in are few and far between. plus if you take it near mealtimes, you're less likely to feel sick. and i agree with lynseyweth's phone alarm thing: if it wasn't for that, i'd never remember.

I take it in the morning so that if i forget, i have all day to remember (well, it makes sense in my head).

i take it as soon as i get up, varies by a few hours at weekends. But providing its within 12 hours(for combined) of the time you took your previous pill the day before your fine.
We learned in psychology last year that your absorbtion (sp?) rates are higher later on in the day, therefore making it even more likely to be effective if you take it later in the day. Don't know if this is actually true, but there must be somthing scientific backing it up or else we wouldn't have had to learn it lol.

I take it at 11pm, because that's one time I'm always awake and I'm never at college or anything like that where it could be awkward. I set my phone alarm every day anyway because I'm forgetful.
morning=all day to catch up if you miss it

night=booze > sick > thow it up
After you've had something to eat.

as soon as i wake up, doesnt matter if it varies slightly from day to day
if you get up at a regualr time then take it as part of your morning routine,

When I had a regular morning routine because of work and college, I took my pill in the morning when I got up but now it varies a lot as to whether I'm awake etc. so I find it easier to take it at 10 every evening, as like others have said, I'm always awake at this time and it is much easier than having to find a suitable tims during the day to take the pill (not at work or college).

Set the alarm on your phone and carry it with you, so it shouldnt be a problem

Does it matter if you take the pill on an empty stomach or full stomach or anything?

I take mine before I go to bed so it's usually at about 11-11.30pm.

As long as you're on the combined pill and not the progesterone-only pill, this won't make a difference.

I take mine in the morning when I get up, usually anywhere between 8-11.
