Westwood. But I've been offered a 39 week let, rather than a 30 week one. Does this mean I have to rent it for 39 weeks, or simply that I have the option to? I really don't want to pay an extra £700 a year.

Wait until you get your actually accomodation letter and then contact them I spose. I got a 30 week let, which is made quite clear on the site, so they probably do want you to rent it for the full 39 weeks...

Was Westwood your first choice? If not it would definitely seem very strange that Accommodation would ask you to pay the extra for a 39 week let. I'm sure you can decline it though, given that Westwood does do 30 and 39 week lets. But wait until you have an official offer, presumably you've found out this offer through the backdoor method as it were, so wait until it's explained properly, presumably next week.

I had Cryfield as my first choice, so I would think they would have figured I wanted to pay as little as possible. Sounds like a good idea to wait a while though. If I sent an enquiry now, I'd probably just get told that nothing's official yet anyway.

That happened to me as well, so I phoned up Warwick accommodation, and they told me that the system is not supposed to be live yet, and it hasn't been fully tested. As a result, the offers that you see may be inaccurate. I was told that everyone should wait until they get an email from Warwick confirming their accomodation offer before they start questioning the offers.
You guys I've been offered Westwood! I'm really really disappointed. I really want one on central campus! What to do? I would also like the question of how likely they are to change to be answered! Also, what chance would I have of getting better accommodation, like Tocil when we have another chance to move (I think its like week 2 or 3)

Thanks for the advice. Hopefully it'll sort itself out. Guess I'm pretty pleased with Westwoood.

Aww but you'll have great fun in Westwood. You'll be with me, what more could you want?! A 10-15 minute walk from central campus is absolutely nothing anyway!

Hmm.

how likely do you think it is that these will change since according to coffeym the accommodation office said they are provisional?
I really dont think the people who have offers are going to get them changed. Nothing would be up on the site under their name if someone hadnt decided to place them in that accomodation.. I think they wanted us to wait for the email because the email goes out when everyone's housed, so when they say 'Accomodation is up' everyone has something to look at reather than offers coming in over a period.
