Checkups whilst on pill

ive been on the progesterone only pill femulen for a year now and to begin with my doctor gave me checkups every 3 months or so. however i changed doctor and she doesnt give me checkups.

are checkups that important with the pill after youve had no problem in say..the first 6 months?

I think your supposed to get your blood pressure checked every few months, however I've been on the pill for about 2 years and my doctor has never asked me to have a check up! Though I have had my blood pressure checked elsewhere.

Whenever I go to the doctors for a repeat prescription, they always take my blood pressure, weight, and ask me how i'm getting on. I've had a load of different doctors as i'm only a 'visiting patient' because I only go to the doctors when i'm home from uni (I had to register with a doctor in Manchester for university). The one time I went in Manchester she did the same if i remember correctly.

everytime i get nu packs i have to get my blood pressure tested but thats it and i have bin on the pill for 4 years

i have to have a pill check every 12 months, mostly to check my weight and blood preasure. And ask those annoying questions, of which the answers aint changed since last time.
